Welcome to the Ferme de Murols: Discover the Aveyron know-how.
La Ferme de Murols is happy to welcome all those who wish to discover its products and know-how. The farm shop is open all year, from Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm (depending on presence, it is better to call before). The farm also offers free tours on reservation at 06 41 56 52 02.
In addition to the farm visit, products are available at several local markets:
Monday evening: Farmers' market in Lacroix-Barrez (July and August)
Wednesday evening: Farmers' market in Entraygues-sur-Truyère (from July to mid-September)
Thursday and Friday morning: Market in front of the Biocoop d'Aurillac (L'Arbre à Pain) from 10 am to 12:30 pm (all year)
Friday evening: Farmers' market in Thérondels (July and August)
Sunday morning: On the parking of Utile in Mur de Barrez from 10H to 12H (all year)

Memory and Knowledge Broker at the Ferme du Verdier in Aubrac

Come and live a unique experience at the Ferme du Verdier de Lieutadès in Aubrac, where traditional multi-culture-breeding reigns supreme, as it did 50 years ago. Here, no large industrial productions, but a welcoming farm where simplicity and conviviality are at the heart of everyday life. The place offers you to discover Aubrac, its typical landscapes, its fauna and flora, its ancient agricultural trades, as well as its traditions and gastronomy, sometimes forgotten.
Farm visits are first and foremost a moment of sharing around the peasant life of yesteryear, with practical activities for all ages. You will have the opportunity to learn about farm animals, grind grain into flour, and make, shape and bake your own bread in a simple and time-conscious atmosphere. You can also taste farm products, such as jams and homemade cakes, while discovering the self-sufficient lifestyle of farmers of the past.
The animation is designed to accommodate small groups of 5 to 20 people, with registration times to be scheduled before 10:00 a.m. on the same day. The program includes visiting animals, a homemade snack, and hands-on workshops on old agricultural crafts such as bread making or customizing an agricultural knife. You can even visit a cutlery workshop in Laguiole to complete your immersion in local heritage.
The animations are accessible to groups of 3 to 6 people, with activities suitable for all ages. Get ready to live at the slow pace of nature and enjoy rich and authentic human exchanges. The farm invites you to live a privileged moment of conviviality, away from the frenzy of everyday life.
